Our Certifications

Bayou Manufacturing has developed a quality control system that is implemented on all production applications.

Welding quality is ensured through visual inspection by American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) and through in-house destructive testing that includes tensile testing, bend testing, and cross-sectioning.

Bayou Manufacturing develops Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and does Welding Procedure Qualification (PQR) testing and maintains Procedure Qualification records in conformance with ANSI/AWS D1.2/D1.2M:2014 Structural Welding Code – Aluminum, as well as other specifications required by our customers, for example MIL 2035.

Bayou Manufacturing also has FSW process qualification procedures for all machine operators.

Bayou Manufacturing can also provide non-destructive testing as required. Specific technologies are usually X-ray (RT), ultrasonic evaluation (UT).

Bayou Manufacturing is American Bureau of Ships (ABS) and ISO 9001:2015 certified.
